Major blow to Meghan Markle ‘hurt and betrayed’ after bombshell ‘one-sided’ claim

Part 1 of 2

A new German documentary, Harry – The Lost Prince, has sparked controversy and reportedly left Meghan Markle feeling “hurt and betrayed” following a series of pointed claims about her and Prince Harry’s life as global charity ambassadors.

The documentary, which aired last week, delves into the Sussexes’ current lifestyle, featuring intimate interviews with former Metropolitan Police security chiefs, Montecito neighbors, and even a veteran from Harry’s Afghanistan service. The couple, it seems, are unhappy with how they were portrayed.

“Both Meghan and Harry feel the show is yet another one-sided takedown of them and just want it all to stop,” a source told OK!. The insider added, “It’s like they can’t escape their past and are still being judged on things that happened over five years ago. But they know it gets people talking and makes money.”

Meghan, in particular, feels wounded by the input of her Montecito neighbors. According to the source, she believes they have betrayed her trust by participating in the documentary rather than offering friendship and support.

“It was hard for her to make this move and have the eyes of the world on them. She needed friends but was understandably guarded because of what she’d been through,” the source shared. “This documentary has confirmed her belief in being cautious about who she trusts.”

The film also highlights how the couple’s preference for privacy may have hindered their efforts to build local connections. Neighbor Richard Mineards commented on their lifestyle, stating:

“I personally don’t think that Meghan is an asset to our community. She doesn’t really go out or get involved with the community. Harry has to a certain extent because he’s quite jolly… but Meghan doesn’t seem to get seen anywhere… And you don’t see him either.”

Despite such remarks, the source defended Meghan, noting that her guarded approach is understandable given the speculation surrounding her life, including rumors about her marriage. Addressing such rumors, Harry humorously dismissed them during a recent engagement, saying:
