As the heir to the British throne, Prince William is already shaping what his future reign might look like.
Known for his dedication and modern approach to royal duties, the Prince of Wales is seen as a loyal figure committed to steering the monarchy into a new era. His inclusive attitude and grounded public interactions have earned praise — but not everyone is expected to be part of his vision moving forward. That includes his controversial uncle, Prince Andrew.

Tensions Between William and Prince Andrew
Prince William and Prince Andrew reportedly have a strained relationship. Andrew has long been the subject of public scrutiny due to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and involvement in other high-profile controversies, including ties to Ghislaine Maxwell and Yang Tengbo. Although he stepped back from public duties during King Charles’s reign, experts believe Andrew’s presence will be even more diminished once William becomes king.
A Firm Stance Against Scandal
According to the Daily Express, broadcaster and royal commentator Helena Chard says Prince William is not willing to allow anyone he sees as a liability to play a part in the monarchy. “Anyone who poses a threat to the monarchy is banished,” Chard explained. “Prince William is a shrewd operator and stands firm in his decisions. He is committed and determined to do his best for the future of the monarchy. And his mind is made up.”
