The dog suddenly jumped into the pool — swimmers began to complain, until he climbed out holding something terrifying in his mouth.
It was just another hot summer day by the pool. People lounged around, soaking up the sun, laughing, and splashing in the cool water.
Women relaxed under parasols with cocktails in hand, children played with beach balls, and men scrolled through their phones in the shade. The atmosphere was calm — like a scene from a perfect summer dream.
Then suddenly, the swimmers’ attention was drawn to a dog standing at the edge of the pool.
It was a large, light-colored dog, wet and visibly agitated. He stared at the water, then began barking loudly, pacing back and forth as if calling for help.
“What a disgrace!” one of the women sunbathing exclaimed as she got up from her lounge chair.
“Who let this dirty dog into the pool area? Now no one wants to swim anymore. Gross!”
“Leave him alone — maybe he’s just hot. He’s a living being too,” a man nearby replied calmly.
But before they could finish their conversation, the dog leapt into the water with a huge splash.

Some people screamed, others laughed, assuming the dog just wanted to cool off. But it wasn’t that simple.
