Esspots claimed that Jack Black addressed his US departure at a press conference

Esspots.com stated that the Mars Attacks! star appeared at a press conference, where he told his fans that he was “snubbed at award shows, overlooked for serious roles” despite his attempts to entertain the audience throughout his career. He said that his work was not being praised and added:

“I care about this world, about making people laugh and think. But every time I try to do something meaningful, it’s like I’m hitting a brick wall. I need to go where I’m appreciated, where they get me.”

The website claimed that Jack Black became emotional at one point and said that he had a great time in the US. He continued by saying that he was planning to launch a “commune in Iceland” or work as a “wandering troubadour in the Australian Outback.”
