‘In Memory of Guy’: Prince Harry’s Wife Meghan Mourns the Death of Her Beloved Adopted Pet — Users Send Prayers

Part 2 of 2

Her grief, as profound as her love for Guy, was clear as Meghan wrote, “I have cried too many tears to count – the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too.”

She concluded by expressing deep gratitude for the years of unconditional love she received from Guy, calling him “My sweet Guy,” and adding, “You filled my life in ways you’ll never know.”

As news of Guy’s passing spread, fans flooded social media with comforting messages for the family.

One fan shared, “I’m so very sorry for your loss. Our fur babies are such a big part of our lives & it’s heartbreaking when we lose them. RIP Guy. ?”

Another user referenced Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, in their condolences, “One true unflawed, unconditional love… they are a blessing to us flawed humans… I am sure Diana will greet him in heaven. ?”

A user noted the difficulty of losing a lifelong companion, “It’s so horrible to lose a pet, especially one that’s been with you through every stage of your life. feel for Meg and Harry and Archie and Lilli [sic]. ?”

A fellow dog lover and rescue pet owner remarked, “My heart is with their whole family. Having been owned by rescue Beagles, it’s a love that can’t be explained. Prayers for their healing….♥️”

Another person reflected on the timing, “Sad. He was going to be part of her new show. Sad.” Guy will be featured in the first season of “With Love, Meghan.” In the trailer, he makes a cameo, lounging in his dog bed as Meghan cooks in the kitchen.

More fans sent the Duchess heartfelt messages. One wrote, “I am sending my deepest condolences your way, losing a pet is such a painful experience. Pets are part of the family! ?”

Another user shared, “Prayers for loss of fur baby. ?” In a show of support, someone commented, “Meghan and Harry, your hearts are beautiful. God loves you. ❤️” Lastly, a simple yet empathetic message read, “Know how hard that is, so sorry.”
