Despite ongoing rumors and public speculation, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship is reportedly as strong as ever.
According to royal insiders, their bond remains unshaken, and the possibility of a divorce is extremely unlikely—mainly due to two key reasons. While the couple often steps into the spotlight individually, insiders suggest their personal ventures don’t reflect any trouble at home.
“Madly in Love” — and Committed No Matter What
One palace source dismissed the divorce rumors outright, saying, “First off, Harry and Meghan are actually madly in love. But even if things went wrong and they fell out, there would be no divorce.

Harry is a pragmatist. He would never leave his children. He wants the nuclear family he never had growing up.” As shared with News Nation, the source emphasized Harry’s deep desire to create a stable home for his children—something he missed during his own childhood.
The same source offered a more strategic take on Meghan’s side of the relationship: “She knows where her bread is buttered — and is very aware that no one would give her the time of day if she wasn’t the ‘Duchess of Sussex’ or if she left Harry. Her power is the (however weak) attachment to the British Royals, and she isn’t giving that up. Ever.”
This idea seems to align with Meghan’s recent actions. During her Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan, she corrected guest Mindy Kaling, clarifying that she now uses the surname “Sussex”—just like her children. The gesture was widely interpreted as a clear sign that Meghan still values her royal title and the influence that comes with it.

Paul Burrell, who served as Princess Diana’s butler, also commented on the rumors of a split, dismissing them. “I personally think there are no signs of divorce because Harry would lose too much,” he said. Burrell suggested the couple shares a mutual goal: “to make themselves as rich as possible in as short a time as possible.”
