Meghan Markle revealed Kate Middleton ‘made her cry’ before wedding to Prince Harry

Part 1 of 2

Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s continued absence from Sandringham at Christmas, largely due to their estrangement from the royal family, a clip from Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey has resurfaced, drawing renewed attention.

In the interview, Meghan, later joined by Harry, opened up about her challenging experiences as a member of the royal family. She revealed she had faced suicidal thoughts due to unrelenting public scrutiny and shared her claim that a royal family member had questioned how “dark” her son Archie’s skin might be.

Meghan also addressed rumors of a falling-out with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife.

Oprah asked directly: “Did you make Kate cry?”

Meghan replied: “No.”

This question stemmed from media reports suggesting that Meghan had made Kate cry prior to the royal wedding. Meghan, however, clarified that the opposite was true.

Oprah followed up: “Was there a situation where she might have cried, or where she could have cried?”

“No, no,” Meghan responded, adding: “The reverse happened. And I don’t say that to be discouraging to anyone because it was a really hard week of the wedding, and she was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologised, and she brought me flowers and a note.”

Meghan emphasized: “She did what I would have done, which is take accountability.” However, she expressed shock that months after the wedding, a reversed version of the story had made headlines.
