The Princess of Wales confirmed her pregnancy with Prince Louis just days after a now-remarkable video was filmed.
Princess Kate, adored by both the public and the press, is constantly in the spotlight — yet even the most observant royal watchers don’t always spot every detail.
In late August 2017, she visited The White Garden at Kensington Palace with Prince William and Prince Harry. At the time, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. But revisiting the footage now reveals a telling clue: Kate appeared to be subtly touching her stomach throughout the outing, a gesture that in hindsight signaled she was expecting her third child.

Struggles with Hyperemesis Gravidarum
As a mother of three, Princess Kate has been candid about her battles with hyperemesis gravidarum — an extreme form of morning sickness marked by persistent vomiting — during each of her pregnancies.
Speaking on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast in February 2020, she reflected on the experience.
“[It was utterly rotten],” she recalled. “I was really sick. I wasn’t eating the things I should be eating, and yet the body was still able to take all the goodness from my body and grow new life, which I think is fascinating.”
Kate also shared that her illness took an emotional toll on her husband.
